This Privacy Policy explains how Donation Tech Solutions Ltd ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use The Good App, including our website, mobile application, and admin/charity portals.
We've designed The Good App to minimise data collection and avoid unnecessary tracking. We only collect and use data where it is essential to provide our service.

We only collect information necessary to operate the platform.
From donors:
- Name and email address
- Account login details (passwords are securely managed and not accessible to us)
- Donation preferences (e.g. selected charities, portfolio choices)
- Country of residence (to determine Gift Aid eligibility)
- Address (optional)
- Optional demographic data (e.g. age range)
From charities:
- Organisation name
- Contact details (e.g. name and email address)
Automatically collected data:
- Basic technical data (e.g. IP address, browser type) collected by our hosting provider (Vercel) for security and performance
We do not use tracking or analytics tools.
3. How we collect your data
We collect data directly from you when you:
- Create an account
- Use the app or portal
- Interact with our services
4. How we use your data
We use your data to:
- Create and manage accounts
- Enable and manage donations
- Determine eligibility for Gift Aid
- Communicate with you
- Operate and improve the platform
- Meet legal and regulatory requirements
Legal basis for processing:
- Performance of a contract (providing the service)

5. Payments
Payments are processed securely by Stripe.
We do not store or have access to full payment details such as card numbers.

We do not sell or rent your personal data.
We only share data where necessary to operate the service, including:
- Stripe (payment processing)
- Vercel (hosting and infrastructure)
7. Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active.
If you delete your account, your data will no longer be accessible or used. Due to system design, some data may remain stored in a secure, inactive, and restricted-access state. This data is not used in normal operations.
We may retain certain data where required by law.
8. International use
The Good App is based in the UK but may be accessed globally.
Some service providers may process data outside the UK. Where this happens, appropriate safeguards are in place.
